The Problem

Sin has separated you from God (Isaiah 59:2). The Day of judgment is approaching. God the Father will judge all people on the return of Jesus Christ (Ps. 96:13; 1 Pet. 3:10). Everyone is under this judgment because all have sinned and are deserving of eternal death (Rom.3:23; 6:23). Sin has separated us from God and there is nothing we can do to save ourselves from the judgment of hell. No matter how good you think you may be. Morality (good living) has never been able to meet the righteous standards God requires for eternal life (Is. 64:6). The condition God requires is perfect holiness which we cannot obtain ourselves (Matt. 5:48). Perfection is only found in Jesus Christ (Col. 1:28). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved from judgment, including yours (Acts 4:12).

The Solution

God loves you so much He died for you (John 3:16). You must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was crucified on the cross for your sins and was raised from the dead. Belief in Jesus Christ permanently removes you from God’s eternal judgment. Believing in Christ means that you have confessed (agreed with God) that you are a sinner and can do nothing to save yourself. It also includes repenting (turning from sin and turning to God) and entrusting your life to Jesus Christ. You then receive the forgiveness of sin.

The Reward

There is an inheritance reserved for you (1 Peter 1:3-4). As a believer in Jesus Christ you are now a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17).This is a permanent condition which guarantees your inheritance in heaven at the return of Christ (Eph. 1:13-14). You will experience a newness of life, victory over sin, and the joy of being with God for eternity (Phil. 3:20).
